Oltre 2 mila i bambini soldato reclutati dai ribelli Houthi morti in battaglia nella guerra in Yemen che conta 10 mila minori uccisi a partire dal 2015 in un conflitto che vede il forte impiego di bombardamenti aerei da parte della coalizione militare guidata dall’Arabia Saudita

«Un mondo che non mette in prima pagina la condizione e la vita dei bambini delle zone di guerra è un mondo malato che ha bisogno d’essere curato» come giustamente afferma  Tonio Dell’Olio della Pro Civitate Cristiana e occorre sottolineare oggi primo febbraio  che è la “Giornata Nazionale delle vittime civili delle guerre e dei conflitti nel mondo”, istituita all’unanimità dal Parlamento  con la legge 25 gennaio 2017 n. 9.

Secondo il più recente rapporto di esperti dell’Onu per il consiglio di sicurezza sono oltre 2 mila i minori uccisi in battaglia nello Yemen dopo essere stati reclutati a forza dai ribelli Houthi nel conflitto avviato dal 2015 contro la coalizione saudita. Nel rapporto Onu sono indicate le vittime civili provocate dai bombardamenti aerei. L’ultimo raid aereo della coalizione militare guidata dall’Arabia Saudita è avvenuto il 20 gennaio 2022 e ha provocato la morte di almeno 70vittime e 100 feriti.
