Oggi negli Stati Uniti si commemorano i soldati americani caduti in tutte le guerre. A causa della pandemia, il governo ha però vietato le cerimonie pubbliche. Con quasi 5 milioni di soldati sepolti nei cimiteri, migliaia di persone avrebbero partecipato a eventi commemorativi, contrassegnando le tombe con le bandiere a stelle e strisce.
