Continuano le forti proteste in Sri Lanka per la devastante crisi economica che ha provocato nel paese asiatico una gravissima scarsità di cibo e carburante.

Allo stesso tempo i manifestanti festeggiano un primo successo, perché mercoledì scorso il presidente Gotabaya Rajapaksa si è dimesso ed è fuggito dal paese prima che il suo palazzo venisse invaso dai manifestanti. Non è chiaro adesso come evolverà la situazione (AP Photo/Eranga Jayawardena)
