La scalatrice iraniana Elnaz Rekabi, 33 anni, è sparita per alcuni giorni dopo essere rientrata a Teheran dalla Corea del Sud. Lì aveva gareggiato per i Campionati asiatici di arampicata sportiva senza velo, poiché – aveva affermato – le era inavvertitamente caduto il foulard. Secondo una “fonte informata”, la Bbc Persian riporta che «le autorità hanno minacciato di sequestrare i beni della sua famiglia se non avesse rilasciato la dichiarazione», che quindi le sarebbe stata estorta forzatamente dopo essere atterrata all’aeroporto, dove una folla di sostenitori l’attendeva come un’eroina al suo rientro, ma non è chiaro dove sia stata portata. Intanto continuano le manifestazioni in tutto il Paese e nel mondo contro la repressione del governo che sinora ha causato 244 vittime, per lo più giovanissimi.
