L’attore statunitense Sidney Poitier è scomparso il 6 gennaio 2022 a 94 anni. Primo attore nero a vincere un Oscar per la migliore interpretazione da protagonista (1964, nel film I gigli del campo) e primo a scalare le classifiche del botteghino, ha trasformato il modo in cui i neri sono ritratti sullo schermo.

Famose le sue interpretazioni in La calda notte dell’ispettore Tibbs (1967), Indovina chi viene a cena? (1967) e Sulle tracce dell’assassino (1988).
