Pechino 2022, una visita al Villaggio Olimpico

Il Villaggio Olimpico di Pechino (Beijing) apre le sue porte ai giornalisti a distanza di quaranta giorni dall’inizio dei Giochi Invernali.

La capitale cinese si prepara per ricevere le Olimpiadi Invernali, che daranno inizio il 4 febbraio. Numerosi gli sportivi e i partecipanti da tutto il mondo che saranno coinvolti nelle gare, motivo per cui «è molto probabile che ci saranno dei contagi», ha annunciato Han Zirong, vicepresidente e segretaria generale del comitato organizzatore delle Olimpiadi di Pechino 2022, durante una conferenza stampa. Tuttavia, rigide misure di controllo sono previste da parte del governo.

Nel frattempo, ogni volta più Paesi aderiscono al boicottaggio diplomatico iniziato dagli Usa contro la Cina per il mancato rispetto dei diritti umani e la violazione della libertà religiosa delle minoranze. Australia, Canada, Gran Bretagna e adesso anche il Giappone hanno comunicato che nessun rappresentante ministeriale sarà presente ai Giochi olimpici di Pechino, una mossa che è stata denunciata dal portavoce del ministero degli Esteri cinese, Wang Wenbin, da “manipolazione politica” dello sport.
