Pechino 1989. Tra il 3 e il 4 giugno un uomo fermo di fronte a un carrarmato manifestava contro la mancanza di libertà di stampa e di informazione. È il simbolo delle proteste di piazza Tienanmen, terminate proprio il 4 giugno con la morte di centinaia di persone, che sono state censurate per anni dal governo cinese e che tuttora vengono silenziate. Sono stati bloccati i contenuti di Wikipedia in ogni lingua, non solo quella cinese, le piattaforme di streaming annunciano lentezze negli aggiornamenti, guardacaso fino al 6 giugno, e nessuno potrà modificare o postare commenti, oltre alle misure di sicurezza consuete con posti di blocco in tutta la piazza.
