Durante la grande marcia di tre giorni chiamata Acampamento Terra Livre, di cui quest’anno ricorre la 15a edizione, gli indigeni dell’Amazzonia e del Sudamerica sfidano il presidente brasiliano Bolsonaro denunciando «l’offensiva contro i nostri diritti, le minacce e le violenze subite e la demolizione degli organi responsabili delle politiche pubbliche indigene». Sono infatti a rischio sopravvivenza molte popolazioni amazzoniche a causa dello spostamento della Fondazione nazionale indio dal ministero della Giustizia a quello della Donna, della famiglia e dei diritti umani. Accusano il governo soprattutto di non salvaguardare la più grande riserva mondiale di vegetazione di fronte a interessi di multinazionali. Nel 2016 il Brasile ha fornito quasi la metà delle importazioni cinesi di soia e ha le infrastrutture e l’area territoriale per aumentare rapidamente la produzione.A rischio ci sono 13 milioni di ettari di Amazzonia.
