Antica Babilonia patrimonio dell’umanità

Dopo anni di pressioni da parte del governo iracheno, finalmente è arrivata la decisione per cui dal 5 luglio l’antica città di Babilonia, in Mesopotamia, oggi a sud di Baghdad, è stata inserita nel patrimonio mondiale dell’Unesco. Lo si è appreso a Baku, in Azerbagian, dove è riunito il comitato organizzativo dell’organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite per l’Educazione, la Scienza e la Cultura. (foto Ap)
