Halloween ad Hong Kong

Nonostante il divieto dell’uso delle maschere da parte del governo, approvato il 4 ottobre scorso, gli attivisti anti-governativi e pro-democrazia si sono ritrovati tramite il richiamo dei social e hanno manifestato travestendosi anche da politici, come il presidente Xi Jinping. Ovviamente il consueto divertimento della notte di Halloween è stato smorzato da tensioni con la polizia e dal fatto che da cinque mesi ormai i locali sono deserti. L’economia di Hong Kong sta risentendo di questa situazione tanto che è entrata in recessione ufficialmente per la prima volta dopo 10 anni. (foto Ap)
